Phase I: 800-900 calories per day. Phase II: 1000-1200 calories per day. Phase III: 1200-1600 calories per day.
One meal per day must consist of Slim Fast-style "protein sachets," available in flavors like "cream soup," "egg-based custard," and "bread and cakes."
It eliminates sugar, white flour, red meat and processed foods from a low-calorie but well-balanced diet.
fish soufflé, tuna and blackberry mousse, veal with plums and stuffed endives are allowed. He has a lot of recipes in his book. You can have a glass of red wine a day, too.

Do you think beautiful women are better employed than "average looking" women?

Coming from a country that capitalizes on the sending of laborers overseas for work to survive, I observed that some jobs and employment opportunities require very high physical standards. I'm not even talking about "entertainment" or "public relations". It seems that even blue-collared jobs like nursing and accountancy prefer attractive women as employees over normal, average women.

Why do you think this is happening? Isn't this some form of discrimination and/or bias? And what if a woman's ethnicity doesn't fit the cultural standard of beauty, do you think it's acceptable if she tries to "modify" her look to become better employed?

This has been studied for decades. Attractive people are more likely to get hired for jobs than non-attractive people, even if they have a very comparable skill level....and attractive women tend to get paid more, too.

Why? Because people are visual creatures. For some reason, prople are more likely to consider a person happy, accomplished, or capable if they are also attractive. Why? I've not the foggiest idea, but it probably comes down to sex and survival of the fittest.

I don't see why it should be unacceptable for a woman to alter her appearance in order to reach a goal she wants. It's her own body, after all. As long as she understands the risks of anything she does and goes out of her way to do them safely, more power to her! I think that it should always be done in a way that is helpful to the woman's overall person, though. If an overweight woman wants to lose weight to improve her chance of getting a job, great! She's healthier that way. If somebody who's already anorexic wants to lose 10 more pounds so that she can model, though, then she needs help and not any kind of criticism. The same goes for women who are addicted to plastic surgery.

It would seem that Clinique Wrappings perfume is like Marmite - you either love it or hate it. In my experience, this fragrance never fails to get me noticed - and always in a good way! It is the only scent I have ever worn where strangers have stopped to ask me what perfume am I wearing.

This perfume is a well kept secret with a cult following. Like any good cult product, it is only recognisable to those in the know. Fans will always comment when they detect a fellow user wearing the fragrance. Often this can lead to a hushed and knowing discussion covering top secret information such as where the wearer bought it and how much it cost. It appears that ladies will go to great lengths and leave no stone unturned to ensure an uninterrupted supply.

The uninitiated may wonder how a perfume could cause normally sane women to worry where their next bottle is coming from. The fragrance was officially discontinued several years ago. The campaign to have it reinstated has been steadily gaining momentum ever since. Clinique now only release it very occasionally for the holiday season. It is very hard to find in Europe and usually only available in the US. UK-based shoppers have been known travel to the Big Apple just to stock up. Those unfortunate enough not to be able to nip across the Atlantic for theirs, will often as a last resort fork out huge sums on the internet, rather than go without.

Clinique Wrappings perfume is sold in eau de perfum form only, and as such, is already much stronger than the usual eau de toilette imposters posing as perfume these days. Ironically, despite its strength, the fact that the wearer is so happy and proud to be sporting this perfume at all, makes it likely that they will spritz themselves with a little bit extra - just to show off.

My friend Kate says she does not understand what all the fuss is about. " I can smell you a mile off" she can often be heard moaning on a girlie night out. This of course is music to my ears. Coincidentally, Kate is gorgeous, but for some inexplicable reason, terminally single. There is no scientific proof that my perfume attracts male admirers, but it certainly provides a talking point.

A quick poll of ten random passers by on London's Oxford Street, carried out in the name of research for the purpose of this article, drew the following results:

Love it - 7 (3 female, 4 male)

Hate it - 2 (female)

Really Really love it - 1 (male, 30ish, asked for my number)

Reader, draw your own conclusions. I'm off to get ready for my date. Now, where's my Clinique Wrappings perfume.....

Becky Bradshaw is a freelance beauty journalist.
sorry.. i think they are too bright and looks unnatural. my mate has got eyes which is a very similar colour and people always think they aren't her natural eyes even though they are (bless! lol) i think the pearl grey ones look more natural. but if you like them then buy them, because that's what really matters, and anyway they don't look that bad. good luck i hope you find the right ones. i might be getting coloured contacts too (i already wear normal contacts instead of glasses) I'm going for a dark hazel or green colour because my skin is quite dark. anyway good luck and i hope you find the right ones! =)

and to answer your question, totally gorgeous!

Irish and Italian communion dresses are intriguing examples of intricate design and detail. They celebrate First Communion and culture in elaborate style. Since both groups tend to hold steadfast to their heritage and their faith, it is easy to understand their emphasis on communion dresses.

Irish Communion Dresses

Irish shamrocks (with pearls) are often embroidered along the bodice and hem of a full-length matte satin dress. Indeed, an Irish girl may have an allover shamrock-embroidered skirt and bodice. The Irish dress can show a scalloped hemline with embroidery and sequins.

Special finishing touches could be a floral trim at the waist or a sprinkling of pearls as well as satin buttons and bows. Communion veils might use satin or lace headbands and scattered shamrocks or Celtic crosses. The shamrock signifies an Irish heritage and honors the Holy Trinity.

The dresses dazzle in multi-layered style and fullness. Shamrock-embroidered sheer organza panels may top a bridal satin skirt. A layer of tulle underneath the dress can add extra fullness. These Irish gowns may also have a crinoline under slip.

A princess drop front waist, slightly rounded neck, and scalloped-edged short sleeves are popular features. The dresses may be tea-length or full length. A tea-length dress with an embroidered satin bodice and tulle skirt is a terrific choice. The gowns are often fashioned from the very best bridal satin.

The accessories for an Irish First Communion will also follow a Celtic theme. Each delicate item has divine details from top to bottom - from pearled anklets to a shamrock clip headpiece. The claddagh, a Gaelic symbol of love and friendship, is also seen on communion gifts such as necklaces and bracelets.

In recent years, some families have chosen to add just a few Irish touches to First Communion. Instead of having a full Irish theme, they may choose a shamrock headpiece, a Celtic cross, or an Irish rosary with a claddagh charm. Yet many still prefer to use Irish symbols in the entire outfit and accessories. The lovely Irish names of the dress styles further reflect youthful, Irish beauty - Enya and Ester, Meghan and Maralyn.

Italian Communion Dresses

Italian communion dresses can be original designs. They can be made from the finest Italian and European silk and other beautiful fabrics. Some dresses, handmade and hand smocked, are imported from Italy. Throughout the years, custom dresses have been the style for Italian girls. A mother would usually ask her neighborhood seamstress to create that special one-of-a-kind communion dress for her daughter.

Shantung dresses often have Valenciennes lace on the skirt, sleeves, and bodice. Valenciennes lace is a type of bobbin lace with a floral pattern. Due to its extremely intricate, sophisticated design, it requires a skilled hand to create this lace.

A flower organza gown can impress with hand embroidery. A short-sleeve, off-white dress, in silk taffeta will look like a vintage style. Italian organdy gowns often have a back sash tie. The dresses use intricate details such as flower embroideries, layering, and ribbons. Communion veils can be long or shorter lengths. The accessories always match the elegance of the gowns.

These special occasion dresses could suit a girl for First Communion or for flower girl duties. For maximum fullness, the skirts are often lined with layers of tulle and netting. There is always careful attention to detail. The exquisite fabrics and extra special touches set these dresses apart from the crowd.

Irish and Italian communion dresses have a special meaning for the girls and their families. Yet everyone can enjoy the beauty and the magic which happens when strong traditions meet an even stronger faith.
